SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Metalogic is looking for a task-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the Edmonton region. This position offers the opportunity to develop industry-specific skills and grow your career. We are providing work in a fast-paced environment as a part of an administration team that is crucial to the organization’s success and growth. Once training is completed the individual will be required to work on the Shell Scotford site (north of Fort Saskatchewan) on a full-time basis.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Responsibilities will vary depending on business needs and include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive, price, enter and audit LEMs to ensure all costs/charges are captured
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Act as a liaison between operators and payroll
  • Read and understand client contracts or Purchase Orders
  • Create client invoices at contracted pricing
  • Various finance duties and project work as needed
  • Review and enter daily LEMS/timesheets
  • Maintain a strong client focus with interactions with both internal and external clients
  • Positively influence others with proposed options/solutions to customers and operations
  • Working at Shell Scotford site

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma from an accredited institution
  • Minimum one (1) year site experience, previous office or industry experience is an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Word, OneNote, etc.)
  • TRACK / CDMS experience is an asset
  • Previous union time entry would be considered an asset
  • Driven to maintain high standards in all tasks

About our region

Following a training period at our Edmonton office, this will be a full-time position operating out of the Shell Scotford site Mondays through Fridays at the Shell Scotford site with possible rotational shift requirements. The successful candidate must have their own transportation.
